About
The Old Spotted Dog Ground Trust (OSDGT) manage the Old Spotted Dog Ground on Upton Lane in Forest Gate. Its trustees have devolved responsibilities for the day to day running of the ground, under protocols and governance procedures agreed by the democratic structures of the society.
The OSDGT was set up in December 2014 and in November 2020 became a wholly-owned subsidiary company (09349773) of Clapton Community Football Club Limited, a member-led community benefit society based in Forest Gate in east London. The OSDGT became a registered charity on the 22nd of June 2022 (Registration number: 1199417).
The majority of trustees have been appointed or confirmed by the society’s members. However, we also welcome and are seeking active participation from the wider community in Newham, as a positive way of genuinely reaching out to those who are marginalised and unrepresented because of age, income, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexuality, religious or moral belief (an aim that is set out in our charity’s governing document).
Our current Trustees, as of May 1st 2025, are:

A human rights campaigner with the Network for Police Monitoring (Netpol) and Forest Gate resident.
Joe Cassidy
