South Asian Heritage Month event

Clapton CFC will be hosting an event for South Asian Heritage Month 2024 on Sunday (July 21) from 2pm at the Old Spotted Dog Clubhouse. This event is open to all members, not just those of South Asian Heritage. It’s taking place at the same time as the Women’s First Team friendly with Sutton United on the pitch which means you can dip into both. 

South Asian Heritage Month runs annually from July 18 to August 17 every year, and it’s all about celebrating, educating, and commemorating through arts and cultural events to raise awareness of the rich South Asian heritage and history. This year’s theme is ‘Free to be Me’, providing a platform to share experiences while recognising that not everyone feels free to be themselves.
