Community day at the Old Spotted Dog Ground
Last Sunday, the Old Spotted Dog Ground Trust and architects Unit 38 held a community day in the warehouse to discuss plans for the space.
Around 50 local residents attended, many of whom were visiting the OSD for the first time.
A number of our visitors opted to explore the ground and the clubhouse. This provided us with an opportunity to talk about the club’s history, membership, our organisational structure, and our guiding principles.
Furthermore, it allowed us to discuss the plans for the warehouse and how they could contribute.
While this was primarily a pathfinding session, Unit 38 viewed it as very successful.
The suggestion now is to repeat this exercise on a Clapton CFC matchday outside the warehouse.
